For the 2014/1/5 Opening Night Concert and Gala, the Los Angeles Philharmonic paid loving tribute to composer John Williams, long a cham pion and close friend of the LA Phil. Gustavo Dudamel, an awestruck fan of the musical icon, led the orchestra in a cross section of Maestro Williams' matchless canon. Featuring Itzhak Perlman with a very special musical performance of pieces from Schindler's List as well as the Cadenza and variations from Fiddler on the Roof. Jazz elements will fill the air during Escapades from Catch Me if You Can, and may the force be with you during the iconic tunes from Star Wars.

After the success of pearl fishing attracts the unwanted attentions of old school Glaswegian mobster Gavin and his work at the centre leads him to question his true motivations, Ritchie must risk life and limb to save the Highlands from ecological disaster and win Beth's heart.

1648. King Christian IV of Denmark is very ill. His dying wish is to end his days in his beloved Copenhagen and thus embarks on a journey to the capital by horse and carriage. He sends for his ex-wife Kirsten - whom he had imprisoned after they divorced under violent circumstances. Christian wants Kirsten to sign a document claiming that she is guilty of betrayal as an act of restoration for the king and promises her freedom in return. But once being reunited with the person he has loved and hated the most throughout his volatile life, the past is set on fire. The film dives into the tempestuous marriage between Christian and Kirsten, from falling in love to bitter hatred, intrigue and sin.
